Peer review process

Peer review is a common process used editorial of USEFUL online journal.

The editorial of USEFUL online journal uses a rigorous peer-review process as an important part of credentialing submitted manuscripts.

Our type of peer review is "Single-blind": Reviewers are aware of the identity of the authors, but authors are unaware of the identity of reviewers. There are at least three or more reviewers for the total number of articles in each issue.

When a manuscript is submitted to USEFUL online journal, it is assessed to see if it meets the criteria for submission. If it does, the editorial will select potential peer reviewers within the field of research to peer-review the manuscript and make recommendations.

The reviewers for our journal know the names of the authors, but the authors do not know who reviewed their manuscript.

By undergoing peer review, manuscripts should become: more useful, more robust, and easier to read.

Our peer review process has a few steps:

1. The author submits the manuscript,
2. Editor assesses manuscript. On this step the manuscript can be rejected.
3. Manuscript sent to reviewer.
4. Editor assesses comments and the author can make revisions.
5. Manuscript accepted for publishing or rejected.
